Good job, Otters, on your meet with Palmyra last Saturday. The Otters won
the meet by a score of 561-396. Congratulations! Results may be
viewed on

.
This Saturday, July 8, we will host the Falcon Swim Club at home.
Swimmers:
Make sure you have signed up to swim by Tuesday on the meet sign up sheets.
Swimmers should be there at 7:00 a.m. for warm-ups.
Thank you to all the parents who volunteered and served our kids during
Saturday's meet. The kids could not swim without you!
Now, we need you
to sign up to help again.
--BIG, STRONG DADS!!! We need you for the Bulkhead/ Set-up Crew.
Come to
the pool on Friday, July 7, at 7:30 p.m. to get the pool ready for the meet.
Wear your trunks and get ready for the fun!
--MEET VOLUNTEERS! There are opportunities for scoring, ribbons, bake
sale,
timing, running, etc. We will train you, and you'll still get to see your
kiddos swim.
Speaking of the bake sale, we are will be following the same procedure as
last week. Instead of assigning items, we are asking you to sign up for
items to donate. Please sign up by Wednesday's practice. If you will
not
be attending the meet and bringing a donated item, please make a monetary
donation of $5-$10 to the bake sale fund. That way, the committee can
purchase the items we need. Please make your monetary donation to Kris Fox
or Mark or Nancy Frattarole by Wednesday so that they will have the funds
needed to purchase the meet goodies. Either way, make sure your name is
marked off when you bring your item or make your monetary donation.
Sign-ups for the Middletown 10 and under Invitational (scheduled for July
11) and
The Willowood Invitational (scheduled for July 12) are due to Jim by Monday,
July 3.
Information is available on the sign-up sheets at practice and on the
Invitational link of www.swimmpsl.org <http://www.swimmpsl.org/>
.
There will be practice on Tuesday, July 4.
The All-Star Meet slated for Sunday, July 23rd, is fast-approaching. Check
out the ad information online and at practice. We also have a need for
someone to head the parking committee. We already have some volunteers; we
just need a general!
Mark your calendars now for our End- of- Season Otter Awards Night on
Wednesday, July 26, at 6:30 p.m. More details will follow in future
newsletters.
