End of year Banquet—Our end-of-year awards night and banquet is Friday, March 7,
in the arena. Due to other activities at the college, our agenda will be
slightly different this year. All –Star qualifiers should arrive by 5:30 for
news photos. Everyone else should arrive by 5:45, because awards will begin
promptly at 6:00 sharp. After the awards ceremony, we will enjoy a buffet.
Following the buffet, at 8 p.m., we will honor our senior swimmers. The cost of
the banquet is as follows: Swimmers are free, as are any siblings under five.
All other attendees (parents and family members 5 and up) are $7.50. (This cost
covers the food, as well as the special chairs and tables we are required to use
on the arena floor.) To attend the banquet, you must RSVP by February 25 so that
we can order food and seating. To RSVP, fill out the form below and mail it,
along with your check made out to LVST for any non-swimmers attending, to Lynne
Gryboski, 427 W. Locust St., Cleona, PA 17042. Please do not hand in the form to
the coaches or officers at practice. The mail-in reservation method saves
confusion for all those planning the banquet.
Coaches gifts: If you would like to contribute to gifts for our wonderful
coaches, please send a check, made out to LVST, to Lynne Gryboski at the above
address.
Weather issue information: In the event of inclement weather, cancellations and
postponements will be posted immediately on the team website, www.swimotters.org.
This is our fastest and most efficient way of letting everyone know what’s going
on. If you do not see anything posted on the home page of the website, you can
assume that, at that moment, the event is being held as scheduled. Be sure to
refresh your browser if you keep the home page up on your computer. We will also
attempt to alert WLBR Radio.
