Otter Newsletter for Week of February 1, 2009

The end-of-season crush has begun, folks.  We need to take care of a lot of details the next two weeks.  Read on:

--There are changes and alterations to the practice schedule this week!!! Read below:

******Monday and Wednesday are business as usual.

******On Tuesday, practice times are unchanged, but please note arrival times for pictures below.

*******On Thursday evening, the college arena will host approximately 2000 troops and their families in a send-off for a tour of duty in Iraq.  Therefore, there will be practice only for those swimmers who are 13 and over from 4:30-5:45.   DO NOT use the Heisey Road entrance to the Sports Center complex on this evening. Instead, swimmers should be dropped off at the covered footbridge of the main campus (not the one over 934; the one over the railroad tracks from the main campus) and should walk over the footbridge to the Sports Center and back after practice.

*******On Friday, there is NO PRACTICE for any levels.  Our coaches will be attending high school league championships at Lititz Community Center.

--For competitive swimmers, team pictures are Tuesday, Feb. 3.  Individual photos begin at 4:30.  The group shot will be snapped promptly at 6 p.m.  The photos are being taken by photographer Amy Shertzer Wolfe, a former Otter.
