Summer team records are updated in the Records tab at left. Congratulations to the seven Otter swimmers who combined to break 12 team records this season.
10 and under: Katie Mowery broke the 100 yard free record previously set by Carolyn Enigk in 2008.
12 and under: Matt Moffitt broke the 100 yard free record previously set by Shane Kaylor in 2008.
14 and under: Ethan Gehenio broke three individual records: 50 meter back (breaking his own record set last year); the 50 yard back (breaking a 2007 record set by Travis Bohn); and the 50 yard fly (breaking a 2008 record set by Ben Jones). Ethan also combined with Paul Marakowski, Adam Fox, and Austin Cassel to break records in the 200 yard and 200 meter free relays (previous records set last year by Marakowski, Marakowski, Cassel, and Gehenio).
Unlimited: Katie Wingert broke four individual records: the 100 meter free (previous record set in 1984 by Patti Cooke); the 100 yard free (previous record set in 2003 by Katie Keller); and both the 50 yard and 50 meter fly records (both previous records set by Sam Moffitt in 2010.) Katie combined with Hannah Fox, Brooke Gehenio, and Sam Moffitt for a new record in the 200 yard free relay (previous record set by Bechtel, Gardner, Hain, and Horst in 2007.)
